Xiaozhou Zhou was my master's thesis advisor. His research focuses on human-computer interaction design; he teaches undergraduate Ergonomics and graduate courses including Design Cognition and Computation, and Digital Industrial Design and Virtual Design. He serves as member of the Complex Systems Human Factors and Ergonomics Division of the Chinese Ergonomics Society, member of the Intelligent Gaming and Wargaming Committee of the China Institute of Command and Control, Vice Director of the Jiangsu Industrial Design Society Complex Systems Human Factors Design Committee, and editorial board member of Space Medicine & Medical Engineering. He has led NSFC general and youth projects, Aviation Science Fund, and basic research fund projects (NSFC excellent completion), and multiple R&D projects in HCI and interface design with direct research funding over 20 million RMB. He has published 50+ SCI/SSCI/EI papers and holds 8 invention patents and 3 software copyrights.
